Last month, I published a new pattern, the Meadow Lily top. This tunic-length top is designed to be reminiscent of a peasant blouse, with a full bodice, a gathered neckline, empire waist, and flared "skirt." It can also be knit longer to make a dress rather than a top. It includes an option for long or short sleeves--long sleeves give it a "Renfest" flavor.
The pattern is designed for DK or light worsted weight yarn, at a gauge of 5.5 stitches per inch on US size 5 needles. It is knit from the top down, entirely in the round with no seaming. Instructions are included for either knit lace or crochet edging for the bottom edge.The pattern can be purchased through Ravelry.
